易红梅，北京大学现代农学院教授，博士生导师；新农村发展研究院副院长；中国农业政策研究中心研究员；国家自然科学基金委优秀青年科学基金获得者，国家社科基金重大项目首席专家。她本科（2002）和硕士（2005）毕业于华中农业大学经贸土管学院，博士（2009）毕业于中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所。

她的研究聚焦在发展经济学和农业经济学，重点关注公共政策的影响和作用机制，以及如何改进政策设计，提升政策成效，促进农业农村发展。她早期的研究致力于探索如何提升贫困地区农村教育和医疗服务的质量；近年她开始关注数字技术创新、人力资本提升及乡村产业转型升级。围绕这些议题，她先后主持了近30个科研项目。目前她主持的项目主要有国社科重大项目《乡村振兴战略下农民收入稳定性监测及增收长效机制研究》、国自科国际合作项目《数字化背景下乡村产业转型升级路径与对策研究》和国自科面上项目《高素质农民培育项目对促进农业快速增长、绿色发展、提升农业韧性和农户生计公平的影响研究》。

基于上述研究，她在国内外发表论文100篇，其中SCI/SSCI期刊收录论文64篇。论文发表的期刊包括Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, Ecological Economics, the BMJ, Health Affairs, Social Science & Medicine, Reading Research Quarterly, World Bank Economic Review, China Economic Review, Plos Medicine，管理世界、农业经济问题等。Google Scholar引用总计3783次，2020年入选爱思唯尔“中国高被引学者”榜单，2022年当选“中国农业经济学会青年委员会年度青年学者”、2023年成果获得“中央农办 农业农村部乡村振兴软科学研究优秀成果奖”。除了学术研究，她积极为政府政策决策提供支持，向中央政府提交了22份政策简报，其中19份得到了国家领导人批示。2份得到农业农村部领导批示，1份被国办刊物采用。

Dr. Hongmei Yi is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences at Peking University, the deputy director of the Institute for New Rural Development, a researcher of the China Center for Agricultural Policy (CCAP), the recipient of the Excellent Young Scientist Fund granted by the National Nature Science Foundaion of China, and the chief expert of the Major Project granted by the National Social Science Foundaion of China. She graduated from the Huazhong Agricultural University with a bachelor degree (2002) and a master degree (2005), and she obtained the doctoral degree (2009) from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Her research focuses on development economics and agricultural economics, especially on the impact and mechanism of public policies, as well as how to improve policy design, enhance policy effectiveness, and promote agricultural and rural development. Her early research was devoted to exploring how to improve the quality of rural education and medical services in poverty-stricken areas; in recent years, she has begun to focus on digital technology innovation, human capital improvement, and rural industry transformation and upgrading. Focusing on these topics, she has hosted nearly 30 scientific research projects. The projects she currently hosts include the Major National Social Science Project "Research on the Monitoring of Farmers' Income Stability and the Long-term Mechanism of Income Increase under the Rural Revitalization Strategy", the National Natural Science International Cooperation Project "Research on Paths and Countermeasures for Rural Industrial Transformation and Upgrading under the Background of Digitalization" and National Natural Science Foundation of China's general project "Research on the impact of high-quality farmer cultivation projects on promoting rapid agricultural growth, green development, improving agricultural resilience and equity in farmers' livelihoods".

Based on the above research, she has published 100 papers at home and abroad, including 64 papers included in SCI/SSCI journals. Journals in which papers have been published include Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, Ecological Economics, the BMJ, Health Affairs, Social Science & Medicine, Reading Research Quarterly, World Bank Economic Review, China Economic Review, Plos Medicine, Managing the World, Agricultural Economics Questions etc. Google Scholar has been cited a total of 3,783 times. In 2020, he was selected into Elsevier's "China's Highly Cited Scholars" list. In 2022, he was elected as the "Young Scholar of the Year by the Youth Committee of the Chinese Agricultural Economics Society". In 2023, her achievements were awarded the "Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Central Agricultural Affairs Office". Rural Revitalization Soft Science Research Outstanding Achievements Award". In addition to academic research, she actively provided support for government policy decisions and submitted 22 policy briefs to the central government, 19 of which received approval from national leaders. Two policy briefs received approval from leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and one policy brief was adopted by state-run publications.

Her research interests focus on agricultural economics and development economics. She has been exploring how to improve the policy design (from the perspective of behavioral insights) to facilitate the accumulation of human capital for agricultural and rural development through rigorous impact evaluation and social experiments. She is working on vocational education and training, supply and utilization of rural medical services, as well as digital technologies and smart agriculture.
