Dr. Qiang Zhou earned his PhD in political science from Columbia University in 2008. He had been a Post-Doc instructor in the Committee on International Relations at the University of Chicago from 2008 to 2011. His research bridges International and Comparative Political Economy. His book, Partisanship, Union Centralization and Mobility: The Political Roots of Interindustry Labor Mobility, was published by L’Harmattan Publishing House in Paris in 2016. His recent research articles were published in British Journal of Political Science and International Interactions (English articles) and World Economics and Politics and Teaching and Research (Chinese articles). His current research agenda consists of, 1) Internalization of International Issues; 2) Domestic Political Effects of Economic Crisis; and 3) Globalization and De-globalization.
