张开，浙江缙云人，北京大学政府管理学院博士候选人，研究领域为政治理论和政治思想史，尤其关注托克维尔（法国自由主义）和马基雅维利。我的相关研究发表在《政治学研究》《北大政治学评论》《云南大学学报（社会科学版）》上。我主要关注西方近代以来思想史的政治概念及其背后的德性意涵，以及中国近代政治思想史中的国家整合与西学问题。我希望将历史文本有机地转化为当代的智识资源，为现代人的政治思考提供一些有益的借鉴。

I am a first-year PhD student at Peking University, studying and researching political theory and the history of political thought. My publishing covers a wide range of topics, including Machiavelli, political realism, Tocqueville, etc. My doctoral thesis (though I haven’t started drawing up) is focused on Tocqueville and the French liberalism tradition of the early 19th century. My primary academic concern is organically transferring historical texts to contemporary intellectual resources; I hope it could provide some but still meaningful insights into our changing political world.
