袁诚

1972年出生于湖南省石门县，1989年保送中国人民大学就读，分别于1993年和1997年获得经济学学士和硕士学位。1993-1994年期间，在“福特基金会”资助下的“中美经济学培训中心”学习。2003年1月从北京大学光华管理学院获得博士学位。1997年起执教于北京大学经济学院，并在2003-2004年获国家留学基金的资助，在加州大学伯克利分校访问进修。

主要讲授的课程有：本科生水平：应用经济统计、数理经济学、计量经济学、公共经济学实证研究、财经素养教育；研究生水平：高级计量经济学、财税数据实证分析。

研究兴趣和领域主要包括：应用公共经济学，发展经济学，公共政策与项目评估，教育经济学，微观计量经济学，应用经济统计学，并在Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Population Economics, Scottish Journal of Political Economy,《经济研究》、《经济学季刊》、《经济科学》、《统计研究》、《数量经济与技术经济研究》等学术刊物上发表论文多篇。 

YUAN Cheng

YUAN Cheng graduated from Renmin University of China with BA and MA in Economics in 1993 and 1997. She received her Ph.D. in Management from Peking University in 2003. She has held her faculty position at School of Economic, Peking University since 1997. Between 2003 and 2004, she visited UC Berkeley as a Research Fellow with funding support from China Scholarship Council.

She teaches Applied Economic Statistics, Applied Mathematical Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematical Economics, Empirical Public Economics, and Financial Literacy Education for undergraduate. She offers graduate level Advanced Econometrics and Empirical Analysis of Financial and Tax Data which focuses on empirical tools for labor economics and public economics.

Her primary research fields include Applied Public Economics, Development Economics, Public Policy and Program Evaluation, Economics of Education, Applied Econometrics, Applied Economic Statistics. She has published several papers in leading economic journals including Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Population Economics, and Scottish Journal of Political Economy. Currently, her research interests focus on financial literacy and behavioral economics.
