I am currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Peking University. Before joining Peking University in 2022, I was a senior researcher in the Internet Graphics group led by Dr. Xin Tong at Microsoft Research Asia, where I was also a research intern from 2014 to 2018, mentored by Dr. Yang Liu. I got my Ph.D. degree from the Institute for Advanced Study at Tsinghua University in 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Baining Guo. I received my Bachelor's degree from the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University in 2013.

My research interest includes deep learning, geometry processing and computer graphics. My paper on Octree-based 3D Convolutional Neural Networks is one of the Top-5 Most Cited Papers in ACM Transactions on Graphics from 2017 to 2022. I am awarded the AsiaGraphics Young Researcher Award and the AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Award Honorable Mention in recognition of my contributions in the field of Computer Graphics between 2012 and 2024.
