Professor Hongbin Han has dedicated his career to advancing medical imaging technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases. He is internationally recognized as a leading expert in the field of brain extracellular space according to global academic citation impact. He received numerous awards including the China Youth Science and Technology Award in 2011, the First Prize of Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award in 2015, and the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars from NSFC (National Science Foundation of China) in 2016. His work was selected into the “Top Ten Medical Science and Technology News in China” in 2019. Since 2022, he has served as a Corresponding Academician of the International Academy of Astronautics, and received the First Prize in the Beijing Progress in Science and Technology Award in 2023.
