Bio

Dr. Peng Xi is a full professor in the College of Future Technology, Peking University, China. His current research interests are focused on research and development of optical super-resolution microscopy techniques. He has published over 60 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals including Nature, Nature Methods, etc., and holds 12 issued invention patents, including 3 US patents. He is elected as a senior member of OSA since 2015. He has been awarded the National Outstanding Young Scholar by NSFC in 2020, and the Beijing Distinguished Young Scholar by Beijing Natural Science Foundation in 2018. His research is sponsored by the National Science Foundation of China, and Ministry of Science and Technology in China. He is on the editorial board of 5 SCI-indexed journals: Light: Science and Applications, Advanced Photonics, Scientific Reports, Microscopy Research and Techniques, and Micron. He has been invited to give many invited talks in international conferences hosted by OSA and SPIE.

He has been collaborated with Australia researchers from University of Technology Sydney, Macquarie University, University of Adelaide, RMIT, etc. The collaborated work has been published on highly esteemed journal such as Nature, Nature Photonics, Nature Nanotechnology, etc. He is also the leader of the Center for Nano-BioPhotonics (CNBP) Beijing node, an ARC Center of Excellence.
