Bio

I grew up in Hubei, China. In 2008, I received the Singapore SM3 undergraduate scholarship, and began my undergraduate study at the National University of Singapore (NUS). I obtained my B.S. (Applied Mathematics) from NUS in 2012. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from NUS in 2017. I worked as lecturer in the Department of Economics in NUS from 2017 to 2019.

I joined the School of Economics in Peking University as a Assistant Professor in 2019.

My primary research field is health economics. My current research projects include analyzing the effect of information provision on hospital productivity and patient health, studying the driving factors of physician's treatment choices, exploring the socialeconomic factors of mental health and its effect on household outcomes, quantifying the effect of education on the quality of life, and uncovering the channels and consequences of hospital competition in China.
