We live on a planet and our reality is ruled by physical laws. If we try to make polices to limit climate change, to save the environment, and to protect human health, it is important that these policies are rooted in our best understanding of how our world works.
My research helps to inform the targets that we should be setting for limiting global warming and curbing air pollution.
1.On the one hand, I look at the physical needs, so how much carbon we can still emit, and how much toxic pollutants we can reduce.
2.On the other hand, I will look at how society can transform from today to a zero-carbon and clean society.
