Bio

I am a professor with the Department of Psychology, McGovern Institute for Brain Research, and Peking-Tsinghua Center for Life Sciences at Peking University. I got my BA in Psychology in 1981 at East China Normal University in Shanghai, and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology in 1995 at University of Louisville in USA. After two postdocs at University of Houston and UC Berkeley from 1995-2003, I started my own vision lab as a Principle Investigator with the Institute of Neuroscience, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in Shanghai.
